Our Spring 2011 Private Pilot Ground School visited the Raleigh Flight Services Station (FSS) at RDU on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Empire Aviation welcomed 20 students from Durham’s Riverside High School to the Henderson-Oxford Airport on March 2, 2011. The field trip was for the Aerospace Engineering class, part of the Pre-Engineering Pathway at Riverside’s Engineering Academy.
It was a year filled with achievements for students and instructors with 16 solos, 11 check rides, 16 biennial flight reviews, 3 private pilot ground schools, dozens of introductory rides, a new aircraft … and much more.
