Improvements to the runway have been made to the first 800′ of runway 32. Much fill was placed in the middle to fill in the wear and tear of a turf strip. The runway is much improved than ever before and if it ever rains here again in NC, the centerline will even be better yet. We have a rain deficit of over 20′ now with extreme drought conditions prevailing throughout the entire state.
