Aircraft: Winter 2007

By Paul Hesse (January 2007)

Well just the other day, N5144L arrived back on the field from the damage occurred in November 05. It has been a long time coming with extensive repairs from a bad landing by a instrument rated, 250 hour pilot. It has caused great stress and expense (new firewall, engine, hardware, painting, etc) getting it back together and hopefully it will be online shortly. N5330B has now +200 hrs on its new engine. Running great and N4844H may need a new one this year since it is nearing TBO, but again a new top(4 new cylinders) has recently been done and its running very strong. N8432C our Cherokee may get a face lift with a new paint job this spring, monies allowing? Paint is original from 1976. It is chalked out and peeling. Umm…not bad of 30 year old paint?
